Once your floor is milled you will receive a telephone call to arrange shipping. We typically use common carriers such as FedEx freight, Yellow, CCX, or Estes for out of area deliveries. However, for more local deliveries (Tri-State area) we have our own flatbed trucks. We will of course look to use the most reliable, safe and economical method to ship your floor. Please bear in mind that should you live close enough and have the suitable transport; you are more than welcome to pick up your order in person.

Obviously with the possibility of sizable deliveries, you will have to make provision for large trucks to access the delivery site. If this is not possible we are very familiar with making alternate arrangements based on individual shipping needs. We recommend you call us to discuss any concerns you may have.

Log Power is based in New Jersey, but delivering our custom milled flooring across the nation, and even internationally is a daily occurrence for us. We will be happy to quote shipping costs, no matter where your project is.

Having taken such care in milling your beautiful new wide plank floor, we will of course prepare it for shipping with equal concern. Firstly, we cover your new floor with a weather resistant wrap that allows in to breath, but keeps moisture from entering the wood. Next, we build a genuine wood crate to ensure that movement in transit will not damage the finely milled surfaces of your flooring. The crate is then wrapped with a strong ¾” steel banding to make sure your floor reaches you in the same condition as it was when it left us.

If you are in the budget planning stages of your project please feel free to call us for a quotation on any floor, including approximate shipping costs. Simply have your zip code, square footage, and selected species available when you call, then leave the rest to us.
